The operational department GIZ International Services (GIZ InS) was established as an integral part of GIZ in 2002. SouthEastern Europe. Following a series of successful Technical Assistance
projects implemented by MM Romania team in the water, environment, transport, and energy projects,
in 2011 the
office became the Mott MacDonald Group’s
Centre of Excellence for the pursuit and implementation of EU-funded business in Europe and Africa.

ISMERI Europa S.r.l
Europa is an interdisciplinary research institute with 35 years’ experience in policy analysis and research on economic
development and cohesion, labour, welfare,
income redistribution and European structural policies. ISMERI has developed
an interdisciplinary approach combining macro-economic analysis and modelling with a wide range of
social science quantitative and qualitative research methods in order to adapt the analysis to the
specific regional features. ISMERI has worked for many international,
national and local governments in Europe, North Africa and Latin America, for the World Bank and
Inter-American Development Bank.
